Every year thousands of Exploritas
participants and friends make annual contributions. Why do they
give? Many enthusiastic supporters tell us that contributing is
their way of expressing appreciation for the experiences, sometimes
life-changing, they have enjoyed on Exploritas programs. Others
give because they understand that much like a college or university,
registration fees do not cover all of the costs of developing,
maintaining and supporting programs. We hope you will find think
about what Elderhostel means to you and find your own special
reason to contribute.
The goal for this year’s Annual Fund is to raise $3.1
million by September 2009. Meeting this goal is critical to
help bridge the gap between the cost of producing thousands of
high quality educational programs and the fees collected through
tuition. With strong support for the Annual Fund, our vast array
of programs will continue to be available for lifelong learners,
now and in the future.
