Many Elderhostelers
have told us that they would like to continue their Elderhostel experience
after their educational program has ended.
To promote this continuation of friendship among Elderhostel participants,
we are creating Elderhostel Alumni Groups in local communities. Since
launching the Alumni initiative in January 2002, response from Elderhostelers
has been tremendous. Alumni participating in local groups share with
us that meeting with others in their community and sharing Elderhostel
adventures has enhanced their learning experiences and expanded the
sense of community fostered at Elderhostel programs.

30th Anniversary of offering lifelong learning opportunities to
