Join us in Houston for a dynamic, thought-provoking fine arts program - lectures, docent lead and backstage tours, behind-the-scenes at state-of-the-art Jones Hall precede a performance by legendary pianist Radu Lupu and the Houston Symphony Orchestra - hear Mozart's emotionally charged-even operatic-masterpiece. Gain insight on performance preparation. Obtain a new appreciation for various orchestra instruments - how they combine to produce the music of the masters: Mendelssohn, Mozart and Beethoven. Docents enhance Houston's outstanding museums: the Menil Collection and the Museum of Fine Arts and Sculpture Garden: American and European art and sculpture of all ages as well as the Byzantine Chapel, Twombly Gallery and Rothko Chapel.

Feb 15-20: Houston Symphony Orchestra performs Mendelssohn: Calm Seas and Prosperous Voyage; Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 20; Beethoven: Symphony No. 6, Pastorale; Hans Graf, conductor; Radu Lupu, piano.
