Enjoy a sampling of some of the greatest pianists of all time. Chopin and Liszt were famous performers as well as brilliant composers. Chopin's elegance and technique were remarkable, while Liszt’s virtuosity revolutionized how the piano is played. Explore some of their impressive, enduring works for piano. Also examine the long and brilliant, if interrupted, career of Horowitz through his recorded legacy. Discover the unique qualities that made him the most sought-after pianist of his day.



This program will take place during a very exciting time at the Peabody Conservatory. During the month of April, Conservatory students perform recitals for the completion of their degree. Each evening, select from numerous degree recitals, of various instrumentation!
