Sedona's natural beauty is the backdrop for a learning adventure in one of the world's finest travel destinations. Enjoy discussions and field trips with expert guides, unlocking the mystery and majesty of canyon country. Travel through Oak Creek Canyon en route to the spectacular South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Walk the rim or descend into the canyon while a geologist helps explain the greatest open book of Earth's history. Witness stunning landscapes while learning diversity of plant and animal life. Enjoy an open-air trolley ride to Sedona's greatest attractions, including the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Chapel of the Holy Cross. Enjoy a presentation on local Native American culture as well as an evening of cowboy stories and music.

Program includes a field trip to the Grand Canyon via motor coach, including a visit to the historic Cameron Trading Post on the Navajo Reservation. Walking distances of one mile total on mostly flat terrain, longer distances available as well as an opportunity to hike a short distance into the canyon.

Program in association with Northern Arizona University, offering educational Southwestern adventures for over 25 years.

Sedona is located 120 miles north of Phoenix; commercial shuttle available from Phoenix airport.
