Exploring some of the world's most beautiful and exciting environments, Active Outdoor programs exercise both mind and body. Perfect for people on the go, these programs combine the educational depth of Exploritas's traditional programs with the exhilaration of biking, hiking, canoeing, skiing, sailing and more.

You may choose to explore the Grand Canyon on a rafting adventure, investigate the history of England's Lake District on an all day hike, bicycle across Georgia's St. Simon Island, or go trekking in Nepal.

Whatever the program, we want your adventure to be a success. We ask that you carefully read each program description to best match programs with your skills and abilities. Your level of preparedness will affect your enjoyment of the experience as well as that of the entire group so we hope that you will be realistic about how many miles you can hike or how many hours you can paddle a kayak.

All Active Outdoor programs have Activity Levels. We suggest that you review these levels to assist you in choosing your program. Please click here to search Integenerational programs.
