This contest will begin on Saturday, April 4, 2009.

If you have digital photographs depicting the wildlife or natural surroundings that you experienced while on an Exploritas program, follow the entry directions below for a chance to win. Show us your unique perspective of a mountain spring or your best photos from an African safari. We’d love to see your favorite pictures of Galapagos penguins, the Grand Canyon, or scenes from a whale watch.


Deadline for entry is Friday, June 26th, 2009.


Judging


Exploritas’s Quarterly Photo Contest Committee judges submissions based on the following criteria:

  • Adherence to the contest theme (50%):
    Photograph must reflect the theme for each quarterly contest.
  • Composition (25%):
    Are the components of the photograph framed and balanced attractively?
  • Creativity (25%):
    Did the participant approach the photo from a unique perspective?
