Adventures with Color
This contest begins on Saturday, June 27, 2009.

If you have digital photographs depicting colorful elements and surroundings that you
experienced while on an Exploritas program, follow the entry directions below for a
chance to win. Show us the vibrant feathers of a scarlet macaw or the soft pastels of
the desert. We’d love to see your favorite pictures of chili peppers in New Mexico,
fields of tulips in Rotterdam, or the brilliant saris worn by the women of India.
Deadline for entry is Friday, October 2, 2009.
Judging
Exploritas’s Quarterly Photo Contest Committee judges submissions based on the following criteria:
- Adherence to the contest theme (50%):
Photograph must reflect the theme for each quarterly contest.
- Composition (25%):
Are the components of the photograph framed and balanced attractively?
- Creativity (25%):
Did the participant approach the photo from a unique perspective?
