City Sampler: Favorite Urban Landmarks and Vistas
This contest will begin on Saturday, January 17, 2009.

If you have digital photographs depicting your favorite urban landmarks or city vistas that you saw while on an Exploritas program, follow the entry directions below for a chance to win. Show us your unique perspective of the Golden Gate Bridge or the Sydney Opera House. We’d love to see the quiet vistas of your favorite city, such as a quaint café in Rome, or flocks of pigeons in Trafalgar Square.
Deadline for entry is Friday, April 3rd, 2009.
Judging
Exploritas’s Quarterly Photo Contest Committee judges submissions based on the following criteria:
- Adherence to the contest theme (50%):
Photograph must reflect the theme for each quarterly contest.
- Composition (25%):
Are the components of the photograph framed and balanced attractively?
- Creativity (25%):
Did the participant approach the photo from a unique perspective?
