The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor offers a Thursday Morning Lecture Series. This past fall
the topics were:

– A discussion of the people doing multi-media work in the
venue and the diverse groups presenting diverse themes.

today’s visual artists who engage the minds and imagination
of contemporary viewers through active participation with and interpretation
of art works.

conventional media imploding while new media explodes. What does
this mean for newspapers and magazines? What are the challenges
they face as a result of this media explosion?

variety of new writing being fashioned for a new and unusual audience
in the 21st century.
