U.S.
and Canada Programs
Sponsoring Institutions
Exploritas collaborates with a variety of colleges, universities,
conference centers, and other non-profit educational organizations
to run U.S. and Canadian programs. We call these our "sponsoring
institutions." At each institution, a program coordinator works
within Exploritas policy and procedural guidelines to develop the
academic course(s) and to organize the logistics of the program.
International Programs
Program Coordinators |
| Exploritas develops International Programs in
association with a number of independent organizations we call "program
coordinators." They are chosen for their special knowledge and
expertise in destination countries and regions, the quality of their
programming experience and contacts with educational institutions
abroad. |

Program coordinators work closely with Exploritas to design
and manage programs at all our study sites. In some cases, the program
coordinator organization serves as its own travel coordinator if it
has that capacity.
Travel Coordinators
Exploritas also selects professional travel organizations with
proven expertise that serve as our designated "travel coordinators."
They serve participants by negotiating favorable airfares and handling
international flight arrangements. Our travel coordinators are dedicated
to customer service and achieving an appropriate balance of cost,
convenience, and comfort for our participants--more efficiently and
less expensively than if Exploritas were to hire staff to provide
its own travel services. Adventures
Afloat Programs
Exploritas collaborates with a variety of colleges, universities,
conference centers, and other non-profit educational organizations
to run programs in the United States and Canada. Exploritas
also works with a number of independent organizations abroad.
Program coordinators are those individuals who are responsible for
arranging the Exploritas programs. Program coordinators work
closely with Exploritas to design and manage programs at all
our study sites. These coordinators are chosen for their special
knowledge and expertise in the countries and regions, and for the
quality of their programming experience and contacts with educational
institutions. |
